Chef Bio

I started out in the food service industry about 11 years ago, at the age of 19.  It was fast paced and fun, and i decided to go to culinary school and persue this as a career. I attended the Art Institute of Atlanta for two years and received an associates degree in culinary arts.  Over the years, I have worked in various places, a hotel, country club, and a couple of restaurants.  once i had exhausted all of my possibilities on the cooking side of things, (I had done garde manger, functions, worked on the line in restaurants), I decided to try my hand in the pastry department, and I fell in love. I have been on the baking side of things now for 7 years, and have been the executive pastry chef of a restaurant for the past 2 years. Now I am venturing out on my own.  I can do everything from specialty cakes and desserts, mini pastries, cookies and brownies, cupcakes, and designer cakes for any occasion.  I love being a special part of people's events. I love seeing the reactions on people's faces when they see their cakes, and hearing the reactions when they taste them.   I appreciate everyone's business and support, and know that your event is as special to me as it is to you!
